Dr. José-Emilio Batista’s team has been working at Centro Médico Teknon since 1996, with special interest in female urology as well as prostatic diseases, including prostate tumor. His activity is focused both on innovations in the diagnosis (he's co-ordinator of the Urodynamics Unit) as well as innovative treatment (he was the pioneer in Barcelona of prostate laser vaporization).

Urinary incontinence and voiding symptoms are very annoying and deteriorate the patient's quality of life. However, these problems are often hidden for shame and social rejection. Our goal is to provide the best diagnosis and treatment available, as well as a respectful consideration for patients. Research and continuing education are the cornerstones of our team.
