María Teresa Gómez Sugrañes MD. PhD is a doctor specializing in Gynecology and Obstetrics, an expert in gynecological endoscopic surgery, with extensive training in minimally invasive surgery through laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. Her Medical Degree in the University of Barcelona (UB) followed by Residency training MIR in Gynecology and Obstetrics at Institut Universitari Dexeus, Barcelona (UAB). Doctorate in Medicine and Surgery from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) with an excellent "Cum Laude" qualification.

She devotes especial attention to infertility surgery (cysts, myomas, …) and completes both training in minimally invasive surgery for laparoscopy and hysteroscopy (Clermont-Ferrand University, France. European Gynecology Endoscopy School of Verona, Italy) and in Ultrasound Obstetric and Gynecology (Level IV SEGO).

She developed part of his professional career as a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Casa Maternitat Hospital in Barcelona (UB). Later she worked in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Sino-French University Hospital affiliated with Suzhou Medical College, also practicing at the Worldlink Medical Center in Shanghai China (1998-2000).

Since 2001, she has dedicated her professional activity at the Teknon Medical Center in Barcelona, combining her surgical and healthcare activities, offering physical and emotional support to patients in each of the stages of life, especially to women during the menopause, with the aim to reduce symptoms and improve quality of life.
She has combined the last five years training and expanding knowledge in Regenerative and Functional Gynecology, participating as a member of the Executive Board of SEGERF (Spanish Society of Regenerative and Functional Aesthetic Gynecology) January 2017- September 2023. Active participation on the organization, being part of the scientific committee, with the presentations at national and international Congresses of Regenerative Gynecology
